The safety relief valve SPV is a breather valve for unpressurised storage in vessels or tanks.
The valve takes care of holding back gases in the vessel. Thus only small quantities of gases escape to the atmosphere. Furthermore, the vessel is protected against vacuum and overpressure.
The SPV consists generally of two modules, the vacuum module and the overpressure module. The modules are arranged underneath a bonnet and soldered piece of stainless steel pipe and are protected from the influence of the weather. This design ensures a maximum of safety in operation at low temperatures. Often standard breather valves fail due to the lack of the design.

The SPV can be used on all vessels or tanks for unpressurised storage, whose gases shall not escape to the atmosphere uncontrolled.

Impermeability:
|
|
The SPV is gas-tight and mineral oil resistant up to the desired pressure and has a high degree of safety.
The impermeability has been proven by neutral test institutes. German TÜV and DGMK certificates demonstrate that.
